About This Webinar
This 2-part webinar series is designed to provide clinicians and other staff who work in family planning and reproductive health settings an opportunity to explore Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding and documentation. Clinic visit "coding" scenarios will be presented for discussion. It is recommended (though not required) that you attend both sessions. And you must register separately for each session.

Learning Objectives of Session I
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify appropriate Evaluation and Management (E/M) visit type for Family Planning and Reproductive Health clinician services.
- Describe two CPT techniques for assignment of appropriate E/M visit code level.
Learning Objectives of Session II
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify appropriate billing coding for the “nurse only” visit.
- Demonstrate appropriate “nurse only” visit documentation.
About the Presenter
Bonnie Brown Lewis, RN, CCS-P, CPC is a private practice reimbursement consultant who has served as a national physician office consultant and seminar speaker for a variety of firms. Bonnie currently presents approximately 30 seminars each year with the State Medical Associations of Idaho, Montana, and Washington. Bonnie has 16 years of clinical experience combined with 15 years of coding, consulting, and training. Since 1989, she has been teaching, working, and consulting in 41 states. Her nursing experience includes office nursing and hospital nursing in the areas of surgery, ER, ICU, and home health. Bonnie has been the coding consultant for our Documentation, Coding, and Billing Trainings.
Who Should Attend
Only Texas DSHS-funded Title V, X, XX Contractors may register for this event.
Fees and Registration
There is no registration fee to attend this event.
This event takes place via telephone and an internet connection; participants will call a toll free number and listen to a presentation while following along with an online presentation. Detailed instructions and handouts will be sent to the person who registers (aka The Caller). The Caller is also encouraged to register additional listeners for this event.

Continuing Education for Each Session
Center for Health Training is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Washington State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
Upon successful completion of this activity, 1.5 nursing contact hours will be awarded.
Successful completion of this continuing nursing education activity includes the following:
- Being registered for the activity.
- Being present no later than 5 minutes after the start time and attending the entire activity.
- Completion of the activity sign-in form.
- Submission of a completed evaluation form
