This event is FREE – however, participation is limited to Texas DSHS Title V, X, and XX Contractors

Description

These meetings will serve to facilitate a conversation between Family Planning Contractors and the Texas Department of State Health Services. DSHS is interested to hear your thoughts about Title X issues and ongoing communication with DSHS.

Target Audience

This is a Title X activity, but Title V and XX Contractors are also encouraged to attend. The focus of these meetings is administrative updates as well as health literacy and client communication. Discussion will be about community participation activities and include tools and resources for I & E Committees. Please send staff who you think would benefit.

Topics of discussion will include:

• Title X Updates
• Program Updates
• Challenges and Needs of Contractors

There will also be a workshop on Health Literacy as well as helpful tools and resources you can take back to your agency. Don't miss this opportunity to get sample forms and protocols, clinic surveys, and templates to use in your agency!
