Participants will receive up-to-date information on the newest contraceptive methods available and learn how to address clients' misperceptions of risk and common myths about contraceptive methods. Motivational interviewing skills and techniques, as an integrated client-centered contraceptive counseling/education model, will be reviewed and discussed using case scenarios.
